These instructions provide a general guide to setting the initial length of the tunable vertical element on the FM and Airband antennas.

For all other bands: your antenna is shipped already trimmed to the highest frequency of the band that the antenna was designed for. For example, if your antenna was ordered for the 2 meter band it will be adjusted to 148 MHz prior to shipping.

To tune these antennas: Attach your coax and analyzer, loosen the setscrew and adjust the length of the antenna (longer) in small increments until the lowest SWR is obtained.
