Assembly instructions for the Centerfire FM Broadcast antenna. Please also refer to the photos on the antenna description page.
Step One: Install the vertical element. Please note the location and direction of the nylon insulator.
Step Two: Install the lower element
TUNING INSTRUCTIONS
Attach your coax cable and mount the antenna to your vertical mast with the U-bolts or clamps.
Secure coax cable in place along the boom back towards the vertical mast using the included cable ties. It’s critical that the coax cable is at least 30″ away horizontally from the elements before the vertical drop.
The dimensions shown below are the recommended initial element length settings. Using the supplied hex wrench, adjust both elements to the length closest to your desired frequency and fine tune the length using an SWR meter. Follow the directions supplied with your meter.
